My Newshounds Post on Lady Diana

Since the subject was Fox News and Diana, I thought there was one important aspect that hadn't been touched on.

Murdoch pulled off one of his greatest maneuvers in the aftermath of Diana's death.

Initially, the public's ire was directed at the pursuing photographers and the tabloid press they worked for, especially Murdoch.

Instead of trying to defend himself, Murdoch created a diversion. The Murdoch media began assailing the Queen and the Royal Family for snubbing Diana's death. A lot of attention was focused on how the flag at Buckingham Palace wasn't being flown at half mast. I wonder how many knew that the flag at Buckingham Palace had never flown at half mast before, even after the death of the monarch
